Steam is released to dry hair as it flattens it at the same time. The ceramic ion emitting hot plates are coated with Teflon to prevent hair from building up or damage. The Remington has instant heat recovery and maintains uniform heat to lock in moisture.
For safety, the Remington Wet 2 Straight Slim Plate will shut itself off automatically when left unused. It also has a digital LCD display and controls for 30 temperature settings. Heating up is instant. It should work in any voltage outlet for travel worldwide.
